Rockhill Underwriting Management is pleased to announce it has hired Kenneth Schneider as Senior Vice President of Environmental. Ken will be responsible for managing all aspects of the environmental underwriting operations and will work closely with the Rockhill Environmental underwriting team to further enhance service to its customers and expand product distribution while keeping the focus on driving strong bottom-line results.

Ken joins Rockhill from Zavtra Insurance and Risk Management Consultants, a diversified P&C consulting firm specializing in improving and streamlining operations, technology, underwriting and product development, where he served as Managing Principal. Over the course of his 21 years in the insurance industry, Ken’s experience included the dual role of Executive Vice President of USF Insurance Company and Vice President of Burns & Wilcox, Ltd, where his accomplishments included introduction of new environmental and professional liability lines of business. For six years prior to joining Burns & Wilcox, Ken was the Senior Vice President of Underwriting at American Safety Insurance where he was primarily responsible for reengineering and managing the environmental underwriting operations.

Ken holds an MBA from George Washington University and a BS in Geology from Beloit College.
